I was a little wary when I first opened my bag of Date Nut Muffin Rooibos because the aroma wasn’t enticing me at all. As weird as it sounds, I always fear my rooibos having that weird aftertaste that can only really be described as “rooibosy” and I thought I smelled some indication of that in this blend.
BUT I was wrong, wrong, wrong, so blissfully wrong! There is no weird “rooibosy” aftertaste in Date Nut Muffin Rooibos. This blend features a genuinely tasty combination of cinnamon, dates, and walnuts that makes for a convincing muffin(esque) flavor. I’m likin’ it!
P.S. How are my fellow Steepsters doing? I’m going to get my act together and start logging on regularly again because I miss my fellow tea-fiends!

Yes! I know what you mean about the rooibus. I generally avoid rooibus because of it. I’m hoping to get back into rooibus with some flavored blends. Glad to hear this is a good one. :)
SimplyJenW I don’t excel at sickness either! I’m more a caregiver than a care acceptor. I hope you’re feeling much better today :)
We have missed you! Other than my cold, I am doing pretty well. I am so bad at being sick!

Mercuryhime You probably already know this, BUT TheNecessiTeas also has some of the best red rooibos blends available! Linsey’s Banana Bread and Carrot Cake blends are fantastic and there’s never a weird aftertaste :)
