I tried Oh Canada on a whim, hoping that I’d have an addition to my dessert tea selection. Cute maple leaf shaped candies, caramel, toffee and maple syrup. All around sweetness in a cup. What could go wrong?

Unfortunately it did go wrong for me. I’m woefully unimpressed by this one, though it does deliver on its promise for maple flavour. I’m going to have to mix this with something else to make it tolerable, or pass it on to someone who can appreciate it for what it is.

Bio

Wasn’t a fan of tea until Lipton Caribbean blend in Jan 2012, and have been on a tea trip since.

I have a bit of a penchant for teas which have a natural sweetness to them, regardless of the base. Given this, rooibos, herbal and green teas dominate my cupboard. Fruity teas and dessert teas, just you wait! I’ll have the lot of you.

I dislike a few flavours off the bat, so teas containing these are unlikely to hit it off with me: peppermint, cinnamon, cherry, raisins.
