SoHo Cafe and Gallery is mainly a cafe specializing in coffee and light food options. However, they do have a handful of loose-leaf tea options (4-6); some are better than others. The ambiance is good, but the tea is nothing special. In central Indiana, it is near impossible to find a good cup of tea; however, SoHo Cafe and Gallery is at least making an effort.
Tea shops and tea rooms in central Indiana are few and far between. Thus, I was excited to try this new tea shop. Overall, I was not immensely impressed. The quality of their loose leaf teas is lackluster at best. Most of their teas are heavily flavored with fruits or flowers. Their brewing equipment and parameters are good, but they need to get higher quality non-flavored loose leaf teas.
