37 Tasting Notes
It’s acceptable, malty aroma with a little bittery taste, straightforward but the profile maybe too simple to enjoy alone. I’ll try brewing it stronger next time because I want more from this.
Update: muuuuuuuch better with a heavier version and a splash of milk
Flavors: Malt, Tannin
Drink it this is good. Not as strong as they advertised (maybe depends on how you brew it), it’s sweet with a little bitterness, but at the same time still provides you enough flavour of black teas, I like this a lot. Easy to drink and makes you want more.
I got this in loose leaf, very beautiful and large particles of CTC Assam, uniform in size. You get a deep red tea. Nice malty aroma, certainly a little bitter but fits my likings. I sometimes brew a concentrated version for sweet malty milktea.

It tastes much better if you leave the mug open (I covered it like how I did to my usual black teas last time, my dumb!) to air and steep for 2:15min or so.
The tea tastes milder and sweeter , much less encounter to sourness and no tannin, mild sweet aroma, guess white tea brewing is difficult to master. Now definitely want more of this.
First time having white tea, worked hard on the steeping temperature.
It tastes a bit mild to my taste (I usually drink black), with slight greeny tannin, hint of rosy flavour and bursting sweet rose in aroma. I got it in teabags, the smell is so strong I think it can be used as perfume in boxes. Generally it’s a good experience and I’m willing to drink it again.
Flavors: Floral, Rose, Sweet
To be honest I have no expectations on this one after reading the ingredient labels, it is better than what I imagined but still not good.
Due of the oatmeal the tea has a thicker body, you could smell caramel congee, the taste is a bit sad, like if you soak oatmeals in hot water sometimes it got soury, this one tastes like that (I steeped it like normal black tea, not sure if I did anything wrong here), along with a hint of cinnamon.
Overall you don’t feel much tea flavour, it tastes more of oatmeal water. I’m not sure if I want to try it again with milk and I want to have a good talk with the blender..
