695 Tasting Notes
I went with 195DEGF and short infusions to start.
Mild, unoffensive, but packed with flavor. It’s mellow on the body and follows up with a pleasant drying/astringent mouthfeel. The finish is medium, only the sensation lingers on the tongue.
The flavors are one-dimensional to me but it does offer an enjoyable experience as a whole. It feels like the leaves have plenty of legs. It was stored a little dry but is otherwise tasty.
I didn’t have time to take notes into account with this session but the tea itself was very enjoyable and brewed forgivingly well!
Preparation
So glad that it’s aged well! The fresh press of this cake was undrinkably bitter to me, no matter the parameters
I got that bitterness from the Mandala Mao Ca I purchased from you. Rather than feeling or brewing like a young sheng this tastes matured, mellow, and quite tasty! I need to work on explaining the profile and notes so I can write up a review.
