Very light but still a little smoky. When I added a splash of milk it nearly overpowered it. Good but not usually what I go for.

Sweet and delicate. The vanilla is delicious and you can taste it.

Totally good and satisfying. A medium earl with a nice base. Takes milk well.

*After about three more cups- I’ve come back to this one and I am less impressed. The bergamot is very flat and I can’t taste it. It is a fine tea, but I won’t get it again.

I’ve never had Dian Hong before and loved every sip.
It absolutely has milk chocolate notes. As much as the numi chocolate puerh I have in the cupboard.
And I over brewed it by ?? minutes and it was still great with no bitterness.

I am pleasantly surprised by this bagged tea and even more surprised that it is made using only bergamot and not natural flavors! Yay! I’ve had other Sash teas and they are fine, but this one is really good.
I tried it warm (as I couldn’t get to it) and it was ok. When I heated it back up and it livened right up! It smells like sweet oranges and has an orange tang to it too. Very nice! The tea base is mellow but on the darker side so it takes milk well.

The lemony, earthy, funky aroma carries over to taste. There is an almost preserved lemon thing going on that is strangely really good! It tastes citrusy and zingy on the toungue, but the bergamot is lost. So it is mostly a black lemon tea. A touch too lemony. I want some Earl Grey in there too. Takes milk well.
Later as it cools- I like it less. It starts to taste like lemon cleaner. I down graded it to a 60. It’s on the verge of not recommending. When this oz I bought is gone, I won’t get more.

Smells like bergamot, but does not taste much like it. Beautiful tea base. Very good tea, though not earl grey enough for me.

In terms of flavored teas, this one is pretty good. It’s fruity and floral with a good balanced base. It has a strong fruit/floral smell that dissipates when it is brewed. It is still a strong flavor- you can’t miss it. Takes milk well and is great with pancakes or oatmeal. It might be a touch fake tasting, I can’t reallly tell.

It’s good. Nothing special, but it has this going for it; it takes milk well and doesn’t get overpowered, it smells like bergamot and tastes like it, it’s medium/low strength bergamot flavor and doesn’t taste artificial.
