This tea has an aroma of fresh cut hay. It has a light body and a velvety texture. This tea taste of hay and cucumber and has a subtle sweetness. It is pretty good, but there are better Silver Needle white teas out there.
Flavors: Cucumber, Hay
Preparation
This tea is a fairly light oolong with pale amber color and a sweet baked aroma. It has a sweetness and texture that reminds me of apple juice, a nice baked flavor, and floral notes. This is a very tasty tea with a nice complexity to it.
Flavors: Floral
Preparation
This tea is a medium oolong with a rich amber color and a woodsy baked aroma. It is sweet tasting with notes of cedar, berries, and roasted brown sugar. As the tea cools, it becomes a little more fruity, which I am not big on. It is a good tea, but not really one for me.
Flavors: Berries, Brown Sugar, Cedar
Preparation
This Hairy Crab Oolong is a light oolong with a floral aroma. It tastes like buttered flowers and marshmallows. It is a good tea, nice feel, no astringency, but it is just not for me.
Flavors: Butter, Flowers, Marshmallow
Preparation
This tea has a pale green liquid and a faint hay aroma. It has a light body with flavors of hay and cucumber. It also has a nice sweetness to it. I liked the Organic Nonpareil better, but at over twice the price I didn’t think it was over twice as better. This is a very good white tea and one that I would drink again.
Flavors: Cucumber, Hay
Preparation
I love the look of this tea, it is a large 8 gram rolled up ball of white, yellow, and black leaves. I couldn’t help myself and steeped the whole ball, even though it is more tea than I usually steep at one time. It steeps darker than most whites I have had, but it has the honeydew haw flavor of a good white. There is also the subtle flavor of a young raw pu-erh on the back end. It is a tasty tea, which is nice because I was worried that it was just trying to get by on its looks.
Flavors: Hay, Honeydew
Preparation
This tea is a medium oolong with a light amber color and a nice sweet aroma. It has a pronounced honey taste and is sweet but not overpowering. It has a velvety texture that makes it feel like I’m drinking a warm glass of honey. There is a hint of floral flavor that comes on a little stronger as the tea cools.
Flavors: Honey
Preparation
This tea is greenish amber in color and has a vegetal hay aroma. It has an interesting flavor of hay, veggies, and caramel. It is kind of like a mix of a green tea and a dark oolong, which is something I haven’t really tasted before. It is not something I would drink all the time, but I am glad I tried it.
Flavors: Caramel, Hay, Vegetal
Preparation
I got this tea as a sample and just to try it I steeped it western with the 5 g sample pack in 8 oz of water, which is not my normal method. I was only going to do one steeping and I was not sure how long to go, but I went with 2’30". The tea has the aroma of a light raw pu-erh and a similar color. It is earthy with a background flavor of plums.
Flavors: Earth, Plum
