A very nice, easy to drink, green tea.

I don’t normally tend to go for black teas, but this one was excellent. It was warm and comforting, with soft, honey notes.

This tea has a beautiful light green color when brewed, and has a sweet side to its taste. I can get quite a few infusions out of it as well (from 3-4 infusions with the same tea leaves). This is a very enjoyable light tea.

I like the leguminous flavor in this tea, but I can only get a maximum of two infusions out of it when prepared in my kyusu. The second infusion is extremely light, and sometimes like drinking a slightly colored hot water. The taste during the first infusion is pleasant, but I think I would try a different kind of Japanese green tea in the future.

The tea smells very smoky – I am not getting much of the lemon or the ginger taste because the smoky smell is so overpowering. Not only that, but it leaves my mouth incredibly dry! This is not a tea I will be purchasing again in the future.
