I didn’t mind this one which is kind of surprising because I don’t normally like green rooibos too much. It was nutmeg and some creaminess but I’m not sure I would say eggnog. It doesn’t have a thick mouthfeel.
I learned from my mistake last time not to brew this in a tea bag because all of the meringue gets trapped in there.

It’s so hard for me to really enjoy tea that distinctly purports to taste like another kind of beverage entirely. Like, I really like eggnog and hot chocolate on their own, and so a tea has a far, far way to go before it can really approximate another drink entirely. It’s like me trying to pretend I’m 5’10 and male when I’m really a small woman haha. Jealous of the people who really do find that these teas hit their mark, though!

I agree keychange—eggnog or hot chocolate are pretty hard for a tea to achieve because they just don’t have that thick mouthfeel. I enjoyed this tea only when I stopped thinking about it as “eggnog” and more “nutmeg cream”

Bio

Hello,
I am a nurse. I have numerous hobbies: reading, crocheting, crafting, card making, scrapbooking, photography, shopping, and of course drinking TEA!

I started drinking loose leaf tea in Dec. 2010 when I went into a DavidsTea for the first time and have been hooked ever since! My favourite is probably white tea, but I also love black and oolong. I also like a nice relaxing rooibos or herbal in the evening. On Sundays, I like to treat myself and make a tea latte.

My favourite flavours are nutty, vanilla, chocolate, jasmine, tropical, fruity, earl grey.
My dislikes are lavender, rose, hibiscus, banana, and straight green or overly vegetal teas.

I am admittedly fairly generous in my rating scale. Most of my teas I rate at 90 and above, and would re-stock these teas.
Anything under 90 I probably wouldn’t re-stock unless I found a great price.
