A lovely cup of green!
I would probably write another Haiku to this tea, but I’m getting ready to go look at a house with Tony. That doesn’t actually mean we’re finally moving in together (after 13 years of each owning houses 5 minutes apart), but we are leaning more in that direction, & are both very interested in this house, as it appears to have the features we want, & it’s in the neighborhood we want to live in (which I already live in.)
To be continued…

Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter just bought houses side by side that connected through a balcony or something like that. They didn’t have to live with each other but didn’t have to live apart. Ha ha. A great idea I think.

Good luck!

It IS a great idea!
When I got divorced 17 years ago, my ex bought the house next door, which would have been fine except he was a drunk & felt like he should be able to just walk in any time. Hence, I sold that house & moved to the current house.
The house we looked at today is Beautiful, BTW, especially the master bedroom. It’s on the south side of the house, 2nd floor, with 9 windows, built in his & hers closets & dresser drawers, 2 window seats, etc. Nice front porch, lovely yard. The kitchen is kind of small, but there is a spacious dining room. There’s a lot of really nice features, but no garage (but plenty of room to add one). It’s stucco over frame, & the stucco is in need of repair, plus the whole thing needs painted & most of the windows are original (house built in 1890). We went to tea afterwards, & if we were to get it the first thing he’d plan to do is replace all the windows, add vinyl siding, & build a garage. Whew!

I’m so excited to have found this community! I’m a self-employed Harpist (acoustic & electric – Originals, Classical, Rock, Jazz, etc) & Singer/Songwriter. My days & nights revolve around teaching at home, playing gigs, gardening,& fixing awesome food to eat. My schedule is different everyday, but I just go with the flow, & I sip a lot of tea!

My love of Tea began with Herbals back in the 70’s. One of my favorites was a licorice blend from House of Hezekiah, an old tea shop in Kansas City. There was also a tea with mint, rose petals, chamomile, etc called Nuclear Casual Tea.
In the 80’s I gave up caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, (& a few illicit substances…), and brewed medicinal blends & tinctures to support 4 pregnancies (all children born at home). In the 90’s my love affair with green teas began when I discovered ‘The Republic of Tea’. Their beautiful teas & packaging inspired my original song, “TeaMind”, from my CD “Zen Breakfast”. If you’d like to hear the song for free, drop by my website.

In general, I drink my teas straight, but occasionally I add a pinch of Stevia & maybe some coconut or almond milk (I’m allergic to dairy, gluten, & various other things & avoid most sweets.)

I’ve explored a variety of teas:
Whites tend to be a little bland…sorry
Oolongs – wonderfully sensual
Roobios – I’m not a fan in general
Puehr – a fairly new direction for me
I’m not a huge fan of flavored teas, but I do make exceptions, & I’ll try just about anything once.

And Black Tea, Oh how I love thee!!
I am on a quest for the most wonderful breakfast cup! I will find you, my Love!
