From Zhi Tea

Our Organic White Shizandra begins with our premium organic India Oothu White Peony.

We blend in rare organic Shizandra berries and safflower with a hint of natural tangerine essence. The results are a mildly tart, effervescent and flavorful cup.

Shizandra is just becoming known in the West for its numerous health benefits and extremely complex flavor. It interacts fabulously with our tea! Another Zhi House Blend, created to bring the world to you.

This tea is starting to grow on me. It’s savory and peppery, while still staying light. There’s a cracked pepper tingle on the back of my throat from the shizandra and a subtle layer of sweet orange-like citrus that elevates the bai mu dan and makes it less dusky as it sometimes seems to get. It all pairs together to make something unique, special, and still tasty.

Here’s hoping t tea box. Super sweet, with a slightly peppery element to it. I barely taste the white base.

Another tea that came to me from my mystery swap with Moraiwe. In the package it smelled interesting and caught my “senses” so I decided to brew it up. As it brewed it started to smelled like fresh cracked pepper. I’m not too sure of what I think yet if this tea it will take a few other testings. There is a berry After taste that i was not expecting at all. It’s definitely different and I’m glad I got to experience it. Once again thank you moraiwe for opening up my pallet:)
