From the 2025 steepster TTB

This is a very lemongrass and mint blend with not much else going on. I can’t taste the ginger at all. I made sure to get some fireweed leaves but couldn’t make out any flavours from it. The mint really takes over. Without being able to taste the other ingredients, it is tough to rate this blend. I think the idea is creative and interesting but I don’t feel inspired by plain peppermint and lemongrass tea.

TTB 2025. This has lemon and mint notes up front. It’s surprisingly peppery at the tail end and in the aftertaste. I don’t really get the ginger as a distinct note but it might be blurring with the pepper. The flavors just don’t seem particularly harmonized somehow.

This was a little more average tasting than I had hoped. I taste the too-herbaceous coriander and other things that belong more in a health tea than a fun tea. I’m a lemongrass fan, but here it’s just too healthful seeming mixed with the peppermint and everything else. At the end of some sips, my throat catches a bit of the red pepper, which I don’t love here.
