From Wicked Tea

Dry on the nose it smells nutty like peanuts.

Warm on the nose it smells more of peanut butter.

For infusion 1 the tea liquor is bright and slightly cloudy. The flavor is very nutty almost unsalted pistachio. It has a natural sweetness that reminds me of a lightly sweetened vanilla.

During infusion 2 the tea less nutty and more reminiscent of banana bread or other baked breads. It is nutty on the back note. It has a long finish that is quite enjoyable.

The first steeping tasted very much like peanut, but in a wonderfully savory way. The color was golden brown and very pleasant. The second steeping tasted similar, but more muted. The third steeping still had the color, but not much flavor. If this is what roasted buckwheat tea tastes like, I’m a big fan!
