I’m going to have to try this cold steeped soon. For a quick drink, I brewed it hot then poured over ice. It just didn’t seem to want to steep inside a t-sac. It’s turned out fine, but I was worried with how long it was taking it was going to get bitter.

Still a very awesome iced tea. Since I have so much of it, I will have to make plenty this summer. The fruit flavors seem to pop when it’s cold.

This is so much better iced. I did enjoy it hot, but I probably won’t ever drink it hot again after having it iced. The flavors are so much cleaner and more prominent. The mango and pineapple seem far crisper when iced. The flavors don’t completely overwhelm the green tea base, but they’re certainly the star of the show. I did add a couple of teaspoons of sugar. It probably wasn’t needed, but the thought of unsweetened iced tea just sort of confuses me still.

This will most certainly be a staple in my cabinet.

This was my favorite tea from Tropical Tea Company.

At this point it may be mine. I still need to try some others I’ve got, re-evaluate a few, and a couple I’ve got I think will be better served iced. I enjoyed this well enough warm, but wasn’t in any rush to have it again. Not that I was avoiding it by any means, but it just didn’t have that “you need to drink me!” factor. Iced it really is another thing altogether.

The smell of the dry leaves is sort of generically tropical. Hot, the tea tastes like mango and a touch of pineapple, but very artificial. Maybe a touch of floral flavor as well. Icing the tea yields improvement. The smell is all mango and quite natural. The flavors come out a bit more as well. But it still tastes artificial to me. A lot of other tasting notes indicate that they didn’t find it at all artificial tasting, so I wonder whether there’s some difference in the brewing or I’m just being overly sensitive. Either way, this tea gets a “meh” at best.

This is excellent hot or cold.
Fresh mango scent and flavor – not artificial.
Floral but not overly so whatsoever which is good because while I do enjoy a floral tea sometimes its TOO floral for me and makes me feel sick to my stomach.
The aroma truly does smell like a tropical floral bouquet meaning that REAL flowers do not smell overwhelming or like perfume, but light and airy and you get that whiff of floral essence now and then.
Also the mango is not chemical tasting or imitation flavor tasting which is very important to me.
For a green, to me, its on the dark side.
There is just a slight slight bit of astringency.
I pick up a definitive tea flavor which tells me all the more this is flavored well and balanced.
No sugar, milk, honey etc added this go around.
I would like to see this as a staple in my stash especially in warmer months so I can have the option of making it iced or hot.

I’ve been adding more leaf to this one and drinking it exclusively iced, and that’s the way I enjoy it most. Still not impressed, though — when the flavor becomes stronger, so too does an odd aftertaste.
