From Tribute Tea Company

Perhaps the most famous high mountain tea from Taiwan, Dong Ding thrives in the cool, cloudy mists of Dongding Mountain area in Nantou County. The 12 original plants were brought from the legendary Wuyi mountains of Fujian in 1885.

Since then, Dong Ding continues to awe tea lovers with it’s impressively unique flavor and lingering aftertaste. A medium level of oxidation and roasting presents a supreme, nutty aroma of apples, finished with the sweet taste of peaches…

Notes: apple, peach, walnut

Infusion: 190ºF / 88ºC for 1-2 minutes

Names: Dong Ding, Tung Ting

Another tea from Brett at Tribute Tea, thank you!
I haven’t been drinking that much oolong lately. I blame this on being busy. Oolong is a tea I prefer to drink when I have time to relax, so I drank a cup of this in the bathtub.
This is a pleasantly sweet one, with a fruity essence & a wonderful aroma :)

Excellent oolong. Not as full-bodied as the Ali Mountain oolong but has a natural sweetness from the inherent apple/peach . Great tea to drink at bedtime, very soothing and calming.
