From Teaquilibrium

Teaquilibrium’s Energizing Sport Tea contains yerba mate, a South American herb known for its plethora of health benefits. A study of yerba mate at The Pasteur Institute and the Paris Scientific society in 1964 concluded that mate contains “practically all of the vitamins necessary to sustain life.” Mate is also a natural source of caffeine, theobromine (dark chocolate’s euphoric stimulant) and theophylline (tea’s soothing stimulant) which stimulate the central nervous system to create calm energy and mental clarity.

Yerba Mate fuels your muscles and nourishes your body with 15 amino acids, 24 vitamins and minerals including Vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, Niacin (B3), B5, B Complex. Natural phytochemicals stimulate your immune system and boost your metabolism.

ingredients: yerba mate, apple, cinnamon, natural apple & cinnamon flavors.

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a bit of this tea to try!

As the cup sits here in front of me, before taking a sip, I can smell the apple and cinnamon – it smells very good! Like apple pie! Not exactly the flavor I would expect for a tea called burst, but, it’s very nice indeed.

This is very good. The apple flavor is smooth and sweet, and the cinnamon is not too spicy, it is very harmonious with the apple taste. The mate does not present its usual strong, earthy quality to the cup which is also nice.

Very good blend! One of the better apple teas that I’ve come across!

Oh… I almost forgot! My inspiration for trying this blend today is TeaEqualsBliss’s review of it on SororiTea Sisters! Check it out!

Well, this smells and tastes like orange citrus but when I see that it has apple and cinnamon I can taste the apple now…not so much on the cinnamon but it is tasty regardless! Nice hot or cold.
