From Sencha Tea Bar

This lightly steamed and balanced asamushi sencha represents original Japanese sencha. Our carefully selected Sencha Superior has the distinctive Yabukita character with a fresh aroma, smooth body, umami, and a brisk finish. The light steaming preserves the character and yields a clear, chartreuse infusion. Roughly 70% of Japan’s tea is made with Yabukita, a tea bush that yields the classic sencha character, from Shizuoka, Japan.

For being a more expensive tea, I didn’t like this as much as Sencha Green from them. This tea is really delicate (needs 160F water) and doesn’t have the vegetal taste I love. It’s still smooth (and maybe floral?) when brewed up, and I will have no problem using up my sample, but yeah, not a favourite.
