From PureAromaTea

As soon as you open a package, coconut aroma spreads all over the room. This is the one of the most beautiful blends we stock. This is the China Sencha green tea with a pineapple coconut taste.

Ingredients: Green tea China Sencha, coconut chips (coconut, coconut oil, sugar), candied pineapple pieces (pineapple, sugar), flavour, sunflower petals.

To brew: place one teaspoon per person in a warmed teapot and add fresh, boiled water that has been allowed to cool for one minute. Brew for 2 – 3 minutes. Enjoy!

I figure what the hell, let’s just have some more coconut! oooooh see this? this really is a delicious pina colada like drink. I can taste the pineapple! and the coconut isn’t overwhelming…yes. i must try this cold brewed! Seriously? I am really digging these teas from purearoma. While not all of them have been out of your world knock your socks off, these are some really nicely blended teas that are better than your average tea company in canada/US, at least in my opinion so far. This one leaves a bit of a dryness in my mouth when i drink it but it’s pineapple! and coconut! but not that artificially gross coconut taste. mmmmmmmmm……….

With summer slowly winding down I am making an effort to sip down my summer teas and this tea is screaming summer, cold steep, and tropical all at the same time (this is one noisy tea!) This is my first tea from Pure Aroma, and I want to thank Katiek for sending this to me in her incredibly generous mystery tea box.

The last several tropical teas I’ve tried have been a bit of a let down, but I enjoyed this one, although I wish the flavor would have been as strong as the scent of the dry leaf. If I had more of this I would double the amount of leaf I used, my typical 1T/8oz for a cold steep didn’t work well in this case. I was surprised by how light the flavor was considering that it steeped for nearly 18 hours.

This blend was very heavy on the coconut, with a hint of sweetness from the pineapple and a nice creamy taste that reminds me of a Piña Colada. I do find that I wanted the pineapple to come through a bit more so i added a bit of pineapple juice to it.

This one was a sipdown!
I cold brewed this and left it overnight. It made for a really nice tropical iced tea!

Definite obvious pineapple and coconut notes, but the green tea base is also very noticeable. Maybe a little TOO noticeable for me, but perhaps I left it in the fridge too long.

The last of my fruity samples from this company, which turned out to have some offerings that made for tasty and refreshing iced teas!
