From Mountain Rose Herbs

By far the most popular and palatable black tea, Assam has proven its superiority by consistently delivering a full-bodied flavor, which is both dark and malty. Produced exclusively from the highly skilled tea region of Assam in India, this tea has become a morning favorite because of its rich aroma, crisp flavor, and penetrating color.

Not the biggest fan of this tea. While it has the potential for tasting great, it reminds me quite a bit of lipton black tea and seems to become bitter far too quickly. I haven’t brewed it to my satisfaction yet. I might need to mix it with a lighter black tea to get better results.

A hearty, warm, delicious, and satisfying Assam. I drink this tea regularly in the morning and it is an excellent way to start the day.
