From Great British Tea Store

Like the pastry it’s named after, this tea is tangy and deliciously sweet. The tart and piquant lemon flavour pairs beautifully with the sweetness of the rooibos.

When brewing it starts off reddish orange and finishes as a beautiful full red colour. This tea is a wonderful lemony-y treat. In the summertime enjoy this tea iced.

Great British Tea Store seems to have figured out how to do flavored rooibos teas well. This has a nice fresh, natural lemon flavor without the offensive woody taste I tend to associate with red rooibos. And despite the name, it’s not too tart, just nice and fresh!

Flavors: Lemon, Lemongrass

This was pretty good. I was concerned it would be super artificial tasting, but was pleasantly surprised. The lemon isn’t sharp at all and the natural rooibos sweetness works well with it. That said, I don’t adore it, as this isn’t the type of tea I normally go for. Always good to try samples given the opportunity, though.
