From Grand Tea

Lu An Gua Pian is one of the best Green tea comes from Lu An County in An Hui province of China. It is considered as a very unique among chinese tea, is one of China’s Ten Famous Teas. The name describes the wet tea leaf’s shape looks like melon seeds. “Guapian” means “melon seeds” in Chinese. Unlike many tea it is processed using only the leaf part without the bud and is made of only the first three leaves on each branch.
The taste of this exquisite green tea is clean and naturally sweet. It is said that drinking Lu An Gua Pian is able to help improves vision and relief sleep disorder.
Steep tea leafs in hot water at 70°c (158°F) to 80°c (176°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing and then gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing

This is a 2017 tea.

Brewed this gong fu and lasted 3 infusions. There’s very low astringency to this tea with a good amount of sweetness to it. It’s delicate but when brewed gong fu the green bean taste comes out much stronger – which I love!
