From Ethiquable

The “Champagne” of black teas! Darjeeling tea is one of the most prestigious in the world. The altitude, the freshness and purity of the climate of the foothills of the Himalayas give all its uniqueness and character.

The organization Pashok Organic Tea Small Farmers has nearly 180 families of farmers who cultivate tea in their respect for the environment and biodiversity. This tea is fair trade and organic farming.
This exceptional quality of black tea is harvested with great care.
After being hand picked, the bud and first two leaves are then rolled and left to ferment in a humid atmosphere and uncluttered, and it was after this phase – between 3 and 6 h as develop the aromas and color. Then, the leaves are dried and sorted manually to keep only the whole.
This harvest offers a “frank” body and a beautiful copper color with aromas of ripe fruit.
