From Carytown Teas

Grown at elevations of 2500-5000 feet in the Wu Yi Mountains. A delicate green tea, hand made from the first two leaves and the bud of new season growth. Plucked in the morning and within the first two weeks of the new season. The leaves are gently steamed and then dried. The dry appearance of the leaf is said to resemble a monkey’s paw, hence the name.

Origin- Fujian, China

Tasting Notes- Delicate yet intense smooth green flavor.

Steeping Recommendations- 180 degrees, 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces 3 minutes (1st infusion), 4 minutes (2nd infusion)
