Sipdown (251)

This is a floral tea. Not overly offensive but also not my favourite. I broke it out because it’s one of the teas put into my sipdown box from early 2018. I never reached for it because (1) it came with a cocktail recipe and I always felt like I should try it as a cocktail but don’t really drink so I never did and (2) the ingredients don’t really call to me. So now that I’m drinking it, it’s fine but not for me so into the swap box it goes. Let me know if anyone has any interest for the little bit remaining…

This time, I’m trying this tea cold brewed.

It’s drinkable but it definitely doesn’t taste like lychee to me and there’s something sort of antiseptic tasting about it and chemical that bothers me. I suppose I prefer that my tea tastes ANTIseptic as opposed to just plain septic – but neither are good qualities in a cup of tea, in my opinion.

i was fairly certain i wouldn’t like this tea when i pulled it out to try it. After all the top three ingredients aren’t my favourite: Green tea, jasmine buds, rose buds and petals. Not a fan of any of that. However, i’ll try anything – even blergamot :)

I wasn’t proved wrong. While this may be a blend for some, it’s not for me. too floral, not really feeling the lychee, etc.. oh well! always good to try new things.
