I enjoyed this one. The aroma was delicious. The taste was smooth, sweet and creamy. I’m not sure about the salt, though – I didn’t taste any, and I’m sensitive to salt (which makes me wonder why I bought this in the first place). I liked it.

Me likey. This is not an everyday tea to drink, but certainly one to drink and enjoy on occasion. On first sip I was getting a mineral, vegetal taste. As the tea cooled down I started to get a buttery spinach taste. Yum!!

I really like this one. It has a sweet mineral taste to it that is very light and refreshing. After the second steep, the flavour is still fairly strong like the first cup. I’m also getting a bit of corn after taste which is delicious. This one is going to be a cupboard staple.

A little bit of a disappointment. Not because that this is a bad tea, but because I discovered that I do not like bergamot. I’m surprised, because I recall having tried an EG a long time ago and liking it, but I guess tastes change.

drank Pumpkin Spice by The Tea Haus

It is a cold miserable day, and a day like this calls for a comforting tea. Sadly, this tea doesn’t quite make it. Taste is a little on the weak side, and to bring out the pumpkin pie flavour I needed to added milk and sugar, which I prefer not to do. It’s ok. It won’t be hard to finish, but I probably won’t buy it again.

When I tried a sample of this in the store I really liked it. Enough to bring home a tin of it. I couldn’t get it right at home. I always found it too tart, which I really don’t like in teas. After several brewing attempts, I had no luck, and tried it cold brewed. Still no luck – but my fault as I brewed too long and it became bitter as well. I was able to finally finish the tin, but will probably not buy again. This was just too tart for my liking.

I had this one as a hot brew a while ago, and I didn’t like it very much-too sour (hibiscus, I guess). But then warm weather finally came, so I decided to try a cold brew. Much Better!! Especially with a little bit of honey added.

I keep opening my tin and smelling the tea. I usually only do this with flavoured tea’s. This one smells ridiculously fresh. I wish I had bought more-this is gonna be done in a couple of days. I have to get more. Not only is the smell fresh, but the taste is also really fresh. The honey tones are evident, but I really appreciate those fresh notes in this tea.

This is good. Really good. Makes a smooth, bold cuppa. I usually don’t drink black tea’s without adding a splash of milk, but this one I like without adding anything.

Bio

My tea journey started in 2012, when a friend gifted me some loose leaf. I guess she thought I was drinking too much coffee. Blown away by the amazing flavours I immediately embraced the loose leaf tea. I still drink coffee, but my main choice of beverage is now tea.

My tea preferences are blacks, pu’erhs, oolongs and greens.
