I like this a lot. The smells of these teas are very strong and pleasant. This one smells like candy and nesquik powder. I do taste similar hints, though a little less sweet. I don’t like to steep this very long though, b/c the actual green tea becomes too bitter to me (I use 1 tsp per 8oz). I also use a lower temp b/c I feel more comfortable steeping just about any green tea around 160-180 if I can help it, under boiling if I can’t. It is a bit creamy, and of course, floral. I don’t use milk to save myself some calories, and I don’t particularly care to sweeten it. i’m sure it’s even better though.

I used 1 tsp per 8oz, (hot) b/c I can’t figure out how many grams.

Smells: Definitely caramel, almost burnt/smoky, probably from the black tea. The scent is even warmer and sweeter as it is steeped.

Taste: Since it’s a black tea, I wasn’t expecting anything really sweet (although I was hoping for a slightly sweet dessert type. It’s a very interesting case with this one; milk didn’t make much of a difference. First thing I can taste is the full black tea, with hint a caramel. Not very sweet, but nothing sweetener can’t fix, if you’re fond of adding. The aftertaste is really something; first I taste the black tea, but it slowly melts away into a pleasant, malty caramel flavor that lingers. I’ve never had anything like it before.

I might buy this again, but I’m really interested in sampling different types of dessert teas and such. I also might steep longer, but I’m afraid of it getting too bitter.

I thought t was ok; definitely drinkable, but not one I’d buy again. I could taste peach, but this tea gets unpleasantly bitter for me, not matter how I changed the preparation. I’ve tried 190-boiling, 6oz to 8oz per serving (bag), 1.5-5 min, and even tried to add honey and lemon. The lemon did make it a bit more pleasant, which is normally what use with a typical astringent black tea, but I was hoping for something sweeter. After trying different combinations, I settled on the noted steep time and temp, with 8 oz water.

I just got a pretty decent order from Lupicia. I’ve seen it in Ala Moana in Hawaii, yet didn’t get any tea b/c I didn’t want to have to carry too much, and my family isn’t too keen on buy so much tea. The Momo Oolong was included after checking previous reviews here, looking for a good peach tea. I’m glad I did, since think it’s really good. We’re transitioning right now, but since it’s not too cold, I had it over ice, unsweetened (except for 1/4 t orange juice). First I steeped at the given temp and time (actually between 190 and 190 F), in about 5-6 oz water. After adding the OJ, I poured it over a bunch of ice, yielding approx 2 cups tea, with some ice floating at the top. I like this b/c it definitely has an oolong flavor I’m used to, and I could definitely taste hints of peach. I’d probably be able to taste more if i had used less water overall, but it’s not a big deal, since I’m trying to keep hydrated. Another good thing is that it’s a nice, sweet clean peach, not bitter like some others I’ve tasted unsweetened. I should probably note I ate this with a homemade cheeseburger and some grilled zucchini, but I mean, unsweetened tea has become like soda or juice to me. I may try it hot, or with less water soon.
