Tea Suggestions!!

I’ve been doing the “Flavor of the Month” with my cousin (mikefclark00). May has been Earl Grey (key to my heart). We’re not sure which one to do for June, any suggestions?? Thanks! :)

If you are looking for good tea in the non Puerh sense I would suggest Harney and Sons as a good source for most teas in the USA. I have bought from them several times and they sell good teas. If you are looking to order from China Yunnan Sourcing while primarily known for Puerh tea has a lot of good black teas as well as greens and oolongs. It doesn’t sound like you are quite to the point of investing in puerh yet if you drink a lot of Earl Grey.

New to this whole drinking tea everyday thing so, this was super helpful! Thank you sooo much :)

Another good source for teas in the US is Simpson and Vail at www.svtea.com. They sell good teas at reasonable prices. I am not saying you cannot find better teas than they sell but the price to quality ratio is very high and I have bought a lot of enjoyable tea from them. They are US, shipping out of Connecticut.

I do monthly themes too! My theme in February was “Love You Ooolong Time,” March was “Green March,” April was “Chai to Stay Dry” and this month I’m doing “May Flowers”! Depending on what area you live in, if you like florals, June is still a good time for those, or I’d say fruity flavors are good since it is getting warm and iced tea weather is starting up!

OMG those names are SOOOOOO cute!! Thank you so much for the suggestions :) I’d love to share our monthly flavors and names, would you be interested?

If you’d like, though I try to plan a bit in advance, hahaha! I have a pretty big tea collection so I’ll be doing “June Wedding” next month and following the old addage “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” and rotating through my collection sampling an old tea (I have some really old samplers I still haven’t gotten around to trying yet!), then trying a newer tea I’ve bought more recently, then a tea I received either as a gift or from an exchange/traveling tea box, and then a tea with a “blue” ingredient (like blueberries or cornflowers). So it’s going to be a little varied of a theme.

I think that is so groovy! I really love that you’ve got it all figured out :) – I think the rotating theme is SO cool!! I hope to have it all planned like this!! You inspire me!!
