I forgot to log this at the same time as the Tsarevna, but it was actually the ginger I added to that.

drank Rooibos Vanilla by Ronnefeldt

It is rooibos. With a hint of vanilla. The rooibos is very obvious and not recommended for those who aren’t big fans of red rooibos. Not a bad cup, but very plain.

Flavors: Mineral, Rooibos, Vanilla

Preparation
Iced 8 min or more

Sipdown! There wasn’t much left, so I mixed it with a bit of Silver Yunnan, which makes it hard to say much about the taste(also, I really need to buy a new tea timer, because the one I have doesn’t really work properly anymore, resulting in some very long steep times – about 12 minutes in this case XD ). I think I probably won’t get this again, or if I do, I’ll probably wait until summer, since it’s harvested in spring and gets here by ship, and I don’t think it’s really meant for aging.

Preparation
175 °F / 79 °C 8 min or more 1 tsp 20 OZ / 600 ML

After overleafing last time, I did the opposite this time – I used only one heaped teaspoon for about 750 ml water, then forgot about it and left it in the refridgerator – for two nights. It seems to have worked fine, it was mild and fruity, though I do kind of wonder what happened to the citrus that was there when I had it hot.

Flavors: Fruity

Preparation
Iced 8 min or more 1 tsp 25 OZ / 750 ML

Backlogging from … a few days ago now.
My first ever coldbrew, and I messed it up – I thought “It’s Icetea, so double the leaf”, and felt like an idiot after I tried it, remembering that that’s for the other way of making iced tea. It was still drinkable with some honey, but I couldn’t tell whether or not I was right in thinking that it would work well for iced tea.
I guess I’ll have to try again sometime soon.
