Numi Organic Tea

With the right amount of sugar added (my preference with white teas) this was drinkable, but something about the flavor was off-putting to me overall. I don’t think I’ll get this one again for myself, but I also wouldn’t throw it out if it was part of a mixed set or given to me as a gift.

Lightly peachy with a roasted finish. Surprisingly good!

Very rosy. Wonderful iced, but a little overwhelmingly floral hot. The scent overpowers the taste.

One of the few decent Yunnans available in tea bags (individually foil-wrapped). I take a few along when camping or travelling (or any time I can’t brew loose).

One of my favourite chai drinks! It’s a pleasant taste, although I do like my chai a little spicier than most I find that if you steep it longer it deepens in complexity without becoming bitter.

I love how this blooms and it also tastes great.

This is a fantastic tea, very nice scent, a rich but not overpowering flavor with wood notes. I always have a box handy.

Consistently one of my favorites. I found it in an NYC hotel room a few years ago and have enjoyed it ever since.

Whew! Satisfying, light, dessert-y. Numi’s Chocolate Puerh is a pleasant surprise. Sipping it as I infuse a cream pie with it. Amazing stuff. Real cacao and a little orange peel for a nice blend.

Kinda indifferent to this tea. It smells good, and I want to like it. But, I just don’t. It’s not exactly a waste of water like some decaf teas, but it should be put into an eye-pillow instead of a tea bag.

Mmmm! I added a little bit of strawberry juice and sugar to this today to eat with my home made strawberry ice cream. I think I like the tea better!

I love this tea. The chocolate goes perfectly with the Puerh. It’s a deep, rich and earthy flavor that’s perfect with breakfast or as a bedtime snack (if you can stand the caffeine).

Each steeping is different. We got some serious cinnamon scent/flavor on the first 45 second steeping.

Booyah to the short summer steeps. Bottle of wine, rockabilly wedding, polyrhythmic dreams and long daylight. Mao Feng is kinda nice in the afternoon when the fleeting chaos of summer ensues.

Sweatin’ out the baddies.

No messing around. Oversteep this and die. I have a problem with ignoring my darjeeling while I steep it, don’t know why. Now, I am paying close close attention as it yields some serious power-tonic.

Elevate yourself, start with a one minute steeping.

Prior to steeping I must say I was very turned off by the smell…it was a cross between a sweet smell and a medicine-E smell…not pleasant. Once you begin steeping and while steeping the scent changes to a more lemon-E Scent which is certainly more pleasant and on the verge of relaxing. It’s a very light shade of Yellowish Green in color. The taste is quite pale but nice to kick back to at the end of the day. Please give this one a shot – don’t base it on first smell! it’s a decent cuppa in the long run – if you are looking to relax, that is.

You can’t go wrong with the Emperor.

This is a very nice cup! I am surprised that I like it as much as I do! Every Spiced Chai should be like this stuff! Excellent! It’s spiced but not too spiced because the sweetness of the Rooibos tones it down a tad! Lovely!
