This is a really well-blended breakfast-type tea. It is buttery and not bitter. Can be drunk without milk.

A pleasant, bold black tea with a mild astringent quality. I wouldn’t go out of the way for it, but if it’s available it’s worth a try. I like their logo, “So Nice to Come Home To!” I am a sucker for good marketing and packaging.

I really like Welsh Brew, today I’ve got the bagged version because I couldn’t be bothered to mess about with the loose leaf. It’s a nice, smooth tea that I can enjoy in the evening after work.

Thin, one dimensional. We bought if for a change from Yorkshire Gold.

What is characteristic that gives it one dimensional; as opposed to what other than basic? If I understand Chais would not be characterized as one dimensional since flavorings are components of many: cinnamon, cardamon, and other spices…or do I not understand the term?

I really enjoy this as a basic morning tea. The taste is fairly plain. It’s stronger that Twinings Everyday but less strong than their 1706 blend, so it’s a good compromise.
