Still don’t get it how 2 different white silver needle teas can be so totally different. Miiiiles away…
It was a lesson for me tho. Never order big amount of tea without trying it first. Even if it seams really affordable. And beware of eBay – it can surprise u in both good and bad way ;)

It is drinkable but i wouldnt buy this one again…

i guess once you find one good seller, or at least a re-seller of known (to you) teas

Looks like it’s time to go visit the “what to do with bad tea or spent tea” Discussion. :( So sorry!

malomorgen

well i usually mix it up with something else what makes it better. in this case i like silver needle – oolong combo… the good side bout that purchase is that the tea came in a very pretty package. like a big idk carton somthing tube with chinese ornaments. i’ll take a photo sometime… so i’d pay atleast half of the price for that tin thing only….

I’m so glad that there’s a bright side to this :) I’ll look forward to seeing the pretty tin!

For some mysterious (yep even to me) reason I’ve decided to flop 6 popcorn’s in my steeping silver needle tea. Somehow thought that wouldn’t be so bad.
Salt might have helped with the acid feel. But this time it was bit bitter. Doubt it was cuz of the popcorn’s – water was more hot than usual and i suspect that’s the reason.
It tastes bit more greasy – popcorn’s duh :D
First i feel the strong over-steeped silver needle and later on i get a hint of popcorn taste. They get along rather good…

Wont rate this time but atm i think its not bad comparing to this silver needle alone.

EDIT (giggle) popcorn’s soaked in silver needle taste bad tho

Today i forgot about it and steeped it quite longer than normal 7-8 minutes. Its stronger – kinda almost smokey. I like adagio’s silver needle because of that nutty delicate taste. This one is not that good when mild. But this smokiness i get with oversteeping it i like. Good thing i accidentally found it out because i have few oz-es of this silver needle waiting for me…

First try tonight. I stocked up with this one looking to save money and not run out of my favorite kind of tea. Unfortunately this one and Adagio’s Silver Needle cant be compared. This one is ok but far from being my favorite. I still gotta experiment a bit with amount of it. Might become better. So far it has less of that delicate full taste that makes silver needle so good. And it has a bit of something i dont like a lot. Like bit of sour or something like it. Doesnt go well with silver needle. Looks like ill have to order from Adagio that amazing silver needle…
