This is the second time trying this tea. Knowing that I would enjoy the taste of the tea I wanted to try a new change in scenery while I enjoyed my tea. According to the rituals of a Japanese tea ceremony, setting the mood for tea consumption with decor helps you experience the tea even more. So, to match it’s bittersweet taste I made the tea in front of a bamboo plant (the strong bitterness)and an orchid (elegant sweetness). The taste was even more vibrant while enjoying the sight of these plants in front of me. I also coupled my matcha tea this time with a sweet and light snack. A rice cake with red bean inside. It was a great balance of flavor. I would definitely recommend

I don’t know much about tea, let alone Matcha green tea, but for my first experience this was a pretty good starter tea. I’m usually a medium sweet drinker, meaning I don’t like my drinks too bitter or too sweet, and for a tea it was a nice medium. It was a little grainy when I drank it, but maybe that was either because I didn’t whisk it long enough or matcha tea is supposed to be grainy. I would recommend, for now…
