Hello, old friend. I’ve been drinking this tea on and off for about five years now. I always come back to it. Been slowly making my way through a 1lb.-bag I acquired not long after Adagio stopped producing this for the east coast. It was my first loose leaf tea.

As usual, it’s a very potent Ceylon blend with tart plum and a hint of vanilla. Having it hot tonight. Is there a term for having cups of tea back to back, like “chain smoking”, only with tea? Because that’s what I have been doing today.

This is basically all I’ve been drinking for the past two weeks.
In fact, I’ve got a huge glass of it right here, iced with sugar. So refreshing. :)

This is my all-time favorite tea, hands down. There is something just deeply soothing to me about it. I catch myself sniffing my canister of it because it smells so delicious. I can’t say the taste is pure plum, though. I think there’s a hint of vanilla and something else. I just can’t get enough of it.
It’s a real shame they don’t make it anymore… I guess other people didn’t find it as amazing as I did. I’m glad I got a pound of it before it was all gone!

Light, but flavorful. Nice today since I’m feeling under the weather and it’s hot but not overwhelming… like a broth. :) 7 minutes at 195 degrees.
