So I have been off tea for the past couple of days due to an awful canker sore that made swallowing extremely painful. It is finely healing and I got a new infuser so I had to have an afternoon cup of tea. This is nice and green tea! It is very green and grassy and I can taste a hint of apricot, but I am not sure I can taste the vanilla. Although it is a smooth cup which is probably the vanilla. Boy did I miss enjoying tea!!!

Caitlin

P.S. Thanks Rachel!!!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

You’re welcome. Got your goodies too. Thanks, and hope to get writing soon on the reviews.

Caitlin

Yay! I am glad they got there okay! Hope you enjoy!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

I am sure I will. Thanks for the extra surprises too.

Caitlin

No problem! I hope you like them, red chai and oxford breakfast are some of my favorites! And heath bar is just fun – haha.

Mmmmm! I am not the biggest fan of Earl Grey tea, I don’t dislike it I just don’t love it, but any combination of Earl Grey and creme/cream/vanilla I just adore! I was really craving something of this variety this evening and I throughly enjoyed this cup. I also think the name perfectly describes the personality of this tea. I really need to add some kind of earl grey creme/cream/vanilla tea to my permanent collection.

Also thank you Rachel for this tea!

This was a really good blend! I can taste the green tea with a fruity, sweet note to it! Very nice! Before I knew it my cup was gone and then I was saddened by this :-(

I had this tea today while helping my boyfriend build a computer, an odd combination, but anyway that doesn’t really have to do with the taste of the tea.

This was quite pleasant! I was planning on having Lime Black tea and then I remembered this tea. Thanks Rachel for sending this to me! I have only ever had peach oolong in iced honest tea form but I find it to be a great combination. I loved the undertones of almond in this tea. I didn’t get that much vanilla flavor, but I definitely didn’t find the tea lacking.

Building computers is pretty common in my house too. :-)

Caitlin

Haha – are you in an IT field?

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

I am not but my hubby is… I am more a computer geek as a hobby

Caitlin

My bf is in school for IT and I am slowly being converted to a computer geek myself – haha

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

You may as well run with it if he is in “IT” then just know you’ll be getting into it whether you like it or not. :-)

I am also trying this one for the first time in some time and it too tasted better than before. I found this one more interesting because I almost tasted each ingredient one at a time and the all at once, strange but satisfying. I truly get the whole cool evening, sunset with pumpkins, and colorful fall leaves falling from the trees with this, it kinda made me think of autumn but I quickly remembered snow so I decided no way and jolted myself back to reality and said…it is summer. It was a nice daydream while it lasted.

After such a wonderful review from LiberTeas on here and http://www.teareviewblog.com/?p=13106 I just had to start my day with a cup of my very own blend. It has been some time since I last had this and I do remember liking it. However, I will say I enjoyed it even more this time then I had remembered. The strawberries tasted so real and so fresh. Just a juicy cup plus the cream just made it taste so sinful. The best part is that the cream tasted already sweetened and it made the whole experience that much more enjoyable and for some reason naughty. I just can’t explain it. Bottom line…YUMMY!

Thank you to Rachel for sending me a sampling of this to try.

Yum! This is really, really good. I can taste strawberries and I can taste creamy sweetness. The black tea is a bit astringent, but I’ve come to expect it from Adagio’s black tea base so I’m not put off by it.

A pleasant berry flavor with a touch of cream. Another great Rachel blend!

I really enjoyed this blend and I am confident that I will enjoy it even more once I get the water temp and steep time configured. It is cool from the candy cane but not overly and the vanilla and cream made it smooth and rich. I did however get w weirdness from the black tea base but think I can get it worked out once I play with the water and times. Otherwise, a solid blend and gets better as it cools.

Thanks Rachel for sending me some of this!!

I had this tea with almond cake probably not as good as with coconut cake but it was still pretty darn delicious! This tea smells amazing like homemade whipped cream! It smells like cream and vanilla and just a touch like coconut. It tastes like that too only with black tea thrown in the mix. I think this tea would be great with milk or as a latte. I just may have to try that with what I have left. Anyway quiet a delicious tea!

So I was really scared to try because I don’t like chocolate flavored teas and I don’t like the combination of oranges and chocolate, but I was in the mood for something weird tonight so I figured I would give it a shot!!!

The dry leaves are very pretty lots of chunks of fruit and such. When the tea is steeping it smells very much of chocolate with a hint of orange. The tea itself was a very bright orangey color.

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this tea. It has a tart orange flavor with an aftertaste of chocolate. I made a pot of this and ended up enjoying 3 small cups and putting the rest of the pot in the fridge to try this tea iced. I don’t think I can do this tea all the time but it was perfect for my current mood!!!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

Yay for weird and a bonus for pleasantly surprised!

Caitlin

In my opinion weird is almost always good!! And by the way bonus points for creativity! and thanks for providing this tea to experiment with!!

I have been craving this tea lately. I had it last night with some cookies as a before bed snack. Quite delicious! Tea and cookies might be better than milk in cookies, or better yet tea with milk and cookies – haha.

Thank you Rachel for sending this tea my way. I have recently discovered I love roobios and I have really been on the look out for a line up of night time teas. Tonight I decided to try this one and was not disappointed.
I believe that this tea smelled delicious (there was a skunk somewhere outside smelling everything up so I was having a hard time getting a good whiff of the tea). And it tastes like strawberries, vanilla and roobios in that order. It is quite lovely! I might consider ordering some of this when I am not overflowing with teas.

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

I am glad you enjoyed this. I made this for my daughter who absolutely LOVES teas. I prefer she drink the ones that are naturally caffeine free but she does get her hands on my stuff now and again and she does not shy away from even the strongest of pu erh and lapsang souchong and she is but 3 years old.

Caitlin

That’s so adorable that your daughter loves tea! I hope when I have a kid that they love tea too! And yes this tea was very delicious!

This yummy moment is courtesy of Rachel Thanks!!!

This is very tasty. The spices, caramel and vanilla create a very pleasant taste. The apple is a bit less pronounced but I can taste it amongst the spicy notes. If I were to change anything about this blend, it would be to soften the black tea base Adagio uses which would make these delightful flavors more enjoyable.

Another awesome blend from Rachel!

I have to admit that my very first sip of this tea was a little scary, because I could taste that funky Adagio black tea dry-starchy taste that I’m not terribly fond of. But, as the tea cools just enough to sip it comfortably, the flavors begin to come through very nicely.

I LOVE chestnuts, and I can taste them here, together with the cinnamon and the light touch of caramel – and it’s a very pleasing combination of flavors. The black tea flavor is still there, but it’s less pronounced and it isn’t quite as dry/starchy/aggressive as it was in the first sip.

I am liking this one a lot.

So happy you enjoyed this tea. Seems like my blends are palatable dispite the fact you are not a huge fan of the Adagio black tea base. I am very happy that is the case. :-) Hope you continue to enjoy the rest I have sent you.

LiberTEAS

I don’t really care for Adagio’s black tea base, BUT I have noticed that it is more palatable and even enjoyable when it’s been blended. Weird, and I don’t know why that is. But, the basic flavors that they offer, I’ve tried a few, and I haven’t been real impressed. But, the blends that I’ve been trying from you have been good. I also like the butterbeer one that I’ve tried, although it isn’t my favorite.

I am not a Twilight fan. I think that Robert Pattinson made a better looking wizard than he does a vampire. And… if I were a Twilight fan I think I’d probably be on team Jacob. but… that being said, I AM a fan of Rachel’s tea blends!

The aroma of this tea is very intriguing. I can smell the orange, the chocolate and the rum. The orange flavor is very well pronounced here, sweet and juicy. The chocolate is yummy, and the rum seems to bring out both the flavors of the orange and chocolate very well… it’s a great accent to this blend.

I like it. Go Team Rachel!

I feel like I am cheating with this one. My best friend bought me a loaf of Toasted Coconut Bread from a Farmers Market and I thought this tea would be a perfect compliment. Boy, was I right. Yummy, light and creamy. Just enough coconut to say it was there and the vanilla and cream made this slightly sweet and definaetly smooth. I felt the bread was the hit of the show and the tea the supporting actor. If they both were bold then I feel it would have been overwhelming and thus uncomplimentary. A perfect pairing. Like an old married couple still in love.

That combo sounds lovely, and the label photo is beautiful. Makes me wish I was on a beach right now!

mpierce87

I’m not in love with coconut, but this sounds really awesome.

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

It really was good and really it was like the coconut was in the background so don’t expect a big coconut flavor.

Caitlin

I absolutely love coconut so this combo sounds awesome!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

Caitlin, I will send you some of this tea when I get your package out. Sorry, the bread you will have to find yourself. Not giving that stuff up. LOL :-)

Caitlin

Thanks! I look forward to tasting it!

Thanks Rachel for sending me a bit of this! :)

I can smell a spiced Apple Chai sort of aroma but I can taste the vanilla and chai and caramel type flavors.

As it cools and as I get towards the end of a sip I can taste the apple a little.

This is fairly spicy but still pretty good.

Thank you to Rachel for sending me a little more of this tea so that I could write a review. This is one of your best blends!

I love the smooth flavor of the rum, the tartness from the lime, and the sweet, crisp taste of the peppermint. Absolute Deliciousness!

Thank you to Rachel for sending me a sampling of this tea to try.

As I have said before, I’m not a big fan of the black base Adagio uses, but, in this blend, I really have no complaints about the black tea. Everything works very well together. The Rum, the lime, and the peppermint. It is pleasantly sweet and it is not too tart.

I’m astonished at how much I’m liking this. Surprised because it’s Adagio, surprised because it’s not the typical flavor profiles that I would steer toward… this is really, really good.

This tasting note has been made possible by Rachel – Thank you Rachel for sending me a sample of this blend to try!

I don’t have a lot of experience with the citron fruit, although I did have a citron marmalade once that was really quite delicious.

The flavor is really quite nice in this blend. The creamy vanilla dominates. The fruit flavors – apple and citron – aren’t as distinctive, its more like I can taste a fruity “medley” as opposed to a distinct apple and citrus flavor. The apple flavor does become more distinct in the sweet and smooth finish.

The green tea base is nice. I definitely prefer Adagio’s green tea base to their black tea base, which is a good thing in this particular blend, because the tea flavor is quite prominent. It has a pleasant fresh, vegetative flavor to it. Just slightly grassy, just slightly sweet, and I can detect no bitterness in it. Very enjoyable.

This is really a very tasty blend.

I had to consult wikipedia on the topic of ‘citron’ here. You see in danish citron=lemon and I had the hardest time ever believing you had never had anything with lemon (and I also wondered why on earth you refused to just say lemon)
Great was my astonishment to learn that in english citron=whole other fruit! O.O They’re called ‘cedrat’ in danish. Never heard of them before.

Thank you to Rachel for sending me a tasting of this tea!

Starting my day out a little unusual – not reaching for an Earl Grey this morning, but, instead I thought I’d try this.

I like how the white tea softens that edge of the black tea base (Adagio’s black tea is a bit harsh for my personal preference). The cherry and cream flavors play very nicely together… and the creamy finish is pleasant – I’m not getting as strong an astringency as I usually get from Adagio’s black teas and that’s a really good thing!

Thank you Rachel – this is really good!

Now that it has cooled just slightly, I’m finding this tea even more enjoyable. The cherry flavor really comes through. It is smooth and creamy and delicious! YUM!

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

I am happy you are enjoying this blend, this is my aunts favorite blend.

-Jessica-

Oooh I have been eyeing this one, but I am a bit scared of the white AND black tea that is in here. I am not much of a black tea fan, but I love white tea… I think this tea may be tearing at my soul with a love/hate relationship! LOL

Yummmm…what a great blend. This could quite possibly be a (temporary) replacement for Marco Polo! It has similar notes to my favorite strawberry tea. This held up so well to cream that I think I am in strawberry cream heaven. This is just like a rich strawberry ice cream. So good! Was perfect to drink as a dessert tea!

Thanks Rachel for mailing me this in my sample package:) I will have to add this to my “must order” list. Just need to make quite a bit of room in my overflowing cupboard.

Your welcome and I never did think of the comparison you made between this and Marco Polo. I have both and think at some point I should do a taste comparison. Hmm the wheels are turning.

Meghann M

I ran out recently and have too much tea to justify purchasing more (hubby would kill me…or at least make me do dishes for several days). This is quite similar. Can’t wait to get some and try it iced as well.

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

Haven’t tried it iced yet but I am really low on my supply so will have to get some later to make it iced and I understand overflowing tea,I try to stop myself and it doesn’t always work. BTW, did you like the label? It is a photograph I took. Many of the labels are my photographs, yet another expensive hobby. LOL

Meghann M

I do like the photo. I understand about the expensive hobby, I just bought myself a new DSLR last winter. At least with the digital world things are a bit cheaper to manage (I don’t need to have rolls developed, although I used to work in a photo lab and do them myself). Need to spend more time with my camera, it has been gathering dust since summer started!

Enjoying my second infusion of these leaves now. I think that the second infusion is even better than the first – the peach flavor is stronger now, the vanilla and almond sort of take a back seat to the peach in this cup. This is well-named because it is really a Sweet Peach Treat.

Very good!

Thank you to Rachel for sending me a sample of this tea to try! The aroma is delightful.

This is tasty! The peach flavor is sweet and juicy, the vanilla is smooth and creamy. The almond flavor is nutty and gives this tea more of a peachy dessert kind of flavor that I’m really enjoying.

Smooth and rich with a soft mouthfeel and very nicely sweet. YUM!
