I purchased this tea at the Los Angeles County Fair. It is a loose leaf tea. I have been looking for an Earl Grey that provides a lingering flavor for my palate rather than the quick notes that seem to dissipate. The first thing I noticed about this blend of Earl Grey was its scent. It was very pronounced and pleasing. I could easily smell the black tea but also enjoyed the rose petals, bergamot, and subtle lavender.

I followed the directives on the bag for steeping and allowed for 3 to 4 minutes. It’s aroma is very pleasing even after its brewed. It leaves a dark rich amber color. The lingering flavor is that of beautiful black tea, with hints of rose and lavender. The texture was smooth and left no oily or thick feeling on the mouth. The overall effect of the tea was energizing but left a nice quiet and centered feeling over my mind. I felt focused on my tasks and had the energy to complete them. My mind was not overwrought with the details of each item that needed to be completed. I would recommend this tea.

**Be wary over over steeping. I can see how it could cause a raspy taste due to a very long infusion time.
