sipdown! i had a few cups of this this morning while cleaning up the house a little and getting calls about work stuff. grrrrr. this was a really nice, light, mellow tea. i’m sorry to see it go but really enjoyed having it around!

backlog from yesterday – this was my other tea to accompany dinner. I wanted to see how close to brioche it tasted, and the verdict is, not really at all haha. I prefer brioche but not by leaps and bounds. It just has a whole cookie feeling going on, whereas this is tasty but not quite embracing the whole feeling of a delicious cookie.

I had this yesterday with thanksgiving dinner at friends. No turkey but we managed a pork roast so that was fun. I’m so exhausted from work that i fell asleep in a chair after dinner, but it was still a good time lol I still really enjoy this tea :)

Cold brewing didn’t make this much better, in fact i think i’d probably argue that it made it less drinkable. ah well, at least i tried!

thank goodness the lavander in this is almost non existant. i was a little worried but shouldn’t have been. This is a delightful strawberry, fig tea. It reminds me a lot of strawbery jam – real strawberry jam with that mouthful of deliciousness you get when you lick the spoon. mmmm glad i have enough for another cup of this later!

sipdown! The rest of this is going over to terri to try. I am really enjoying this tea a bunch. It’s not an overly intense smokey tea – there are sweet notes in it and it’s got a depth to it that i really like. It’s also a very smooth tea to drink. As always, I added a bit of maple syrup to this and i am in my happy place. Gulped this one down before i even realised it was all gone.

pretty sure i don’t like this tea. I accidentally let the cup cool as i was distracted when i had it, so i’ll give it another shot. that being said, not much about it made me want to drink it once it had cooled off. That’s ok though, as i think i’ve gradually leraned that tealux = straight teas for me.

Sipdown! This is another tea from the lovely dinosara and man…this is delicious! I really am loving this one – i wish i had a bit more to send to gracebtlb as it might just fill the figgy void i know she has. This is a medium bodied tea, that tastes just like black figs to me. It’s like a fruit garden and reminds me of biting into a fresh fig. I love it! thanks dinosara!

sipdown! this is a pretty tasty yellow tea. It’s not overly strong. I wish there was a bit more sweetness to it, but it’s not too bad. There’s a bit of fruitiness to this that is nice, though as the sup cools, that blends into the background of things.

YAY! 200! now to get a few more in to account for the verdant blends i’ll be getting in a couple weeks.
