On the first sip I thought this fell a bit flat, but a couple seconds later in came this lovely full vanilla taste! Yes, this is quite vanilla indeed, and I love vanilla. This is creamy but not as creamy as I thought it would be, I’d give it like a 6.5 on the creaminess scale. As the tea cools I get more creaminess coming out. The smell of this tea right after it’s steeped is oh-so-yummy, it is the smell of contentment. I feel like this is a pretty simple tea, so I’d like to try mixing it with other teas too (the David’s site suggests mixing it with fruity teas).
Edit: By the third steep the smell was a bit off and the vanilla taste had significantly decreased. Gonna try this with more tea and shorter steeps to see if I can get more out of it!

drank Lemon and Ginger by Twinings

The only bagged tea I keep around right now. My friend made it for me when I was sick once and I said, “what tea is this?! It tastes like the botan rice candies I used to eat when I was a kid!!” So if you want a delicious tea that tastes like Japanese candies, drink this with loads of honey! This is like ultimate comfort food to me, I don’t care if it’s cold or hot out, middle of the day or middle of the night, I will never ever say no to this tea. :)

It was my first time trying this tea, it seemed very promising. I like white tea so I went for it.
I could hardly taste the strawberry at all! It just kind of tasted like a sweet white tea to me. But I think it could be because I steeped it for too long? I think I will try a much shorter steep next time around.

drank Pumpkin Chai by DAVIDsTEA

My first tea note, yayy!
This might be my favorite tea from David’s! Sooo pumpkin and nice and creamy. I like it with brown sugar and some milk and today I put whipped cream on it because I had some in the fridge. It made it look so nice and cozy! If only I had chocolate sprinkles to put on top. :/

University student and relatively new tea convert. It all started several months ago when my mom bought me a tin of The Glow from David’s. Now I want to try ALL THE TEAS.

If you know of any excellent tea places around downtown Toronto, let me know! I’ve found a few but am always looking for more.
