Backlog:

I love Osmanthus Oolong teas … Osmanthus often has a “peach-like” flavor to it, so, I think it compliments the Oolong very nicely. This Osmanthus here is a little less like peach … and a little more like pollen-y nectar, and I’m liking this difference. I love the peach notes of Osmanthus, but I like that this is different. It gives off a unique sort of sweetness that I enjoyed.

Smooth, buttery, creamy, honeyed. Beautifully floral. I got six very enjoyable infusions from the tea.

Nice review. As I was reading of this, I was remembering having had such a tea and the descriptor that came to mind was ‘buttery’ and as I read on in your review there was ‘buttery’. “smooth, buttery, creamy, honeyed..” so true…in the end it is a peach cup of tea disguised as an Oolong tea.
Thank you, lovely review.

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
