International Mother Earth Day
I had a sachet of this that was from Christmas and decided to brew this up for earth day since it’s has pu-erh. I’ve always wanted to try this one from DavidsTea but for some reason, I just never ended up ordering it. It actually tastes really nice compared to a lot of digestive teas. It’s earthy with a hint of orange and I can taste the ginger root as well but it is really mild. It’s not even spicy. As a health tea I think I have other ones that work better so I don’t know that I’d order this one. I’m glad I got to try a cup of it.

I really liked this one! It’s a really yummy earl grey. I don’t know what Pandan tastes like but I think it adds some sweetness in this tea. The bergamot is lovely and the sweetness almost adds a vanilla custard note as well. I need to get my hands on some more Ette Tea at some point. Though I’m not sure how since they never got back to me about shipping to the U.S. I ended up re-steeping my cup of this.

I didn’t expect to like this one as the loose-leaf looked pretty heavy on the lemongrass along with the citrus oils in it. It’s actually a nice citrus herbal blend. I honestly don’t remember much about the cup other than that.
I got some Banana Almond Milk recently to try and I decided to make a matcha latte with it using the Vitamix. (my preferred lazy method for creamy matcha lattes)
It was good but the matcha definitely took over with the banana milk just providing some sweetness and creaminess. I’m gonna have to play around with it to see if I can get a stronger banana flavor by using less matcha or more water next time.

April Sipdown Alphabet Challenge: “N” Tea
I only had two ‘N’ tea choices which was a bit of a surprise. I like this one but I am lowering the rating because I don’t love it. I drank this one quite a bit last year so I snagged some more during the group order. I just opened up my new pouch of this and it wasn’t as good as I remember. Still smells just as good though just a nondescript honey fruit tea. Unique in its own way.

April Sipdown Alphabet Challenge: “M” Tea

I like this one but the blueberry in this seems hidden as I’m pretty much just tasting maple from it. That being said the maple flavor is really nice and I did add a splash of soymilk to this cup as the website suggested. With the milk, it’s a nice and creamy maple tea. I do wish this tea had a stronger base though. It’s a nice dessert tea but not one that I feel the need to repurchase. I’m curious to see how this compares with the Blackberry Maple Waffle tea.
